A DIVINE FURY shortlisted for two 2025 Dagger Awards by the Crime Writers’ Association!
The fourth Cesare Aldo novel A Divine Fury is shortlisted for two 2025 awards by the Crime Writers’ Association of Great Britain.
A Divine Fury is one of six novels up for the prestigious Gold Dagger, and is also among five books in the running for the CWA Historical Dagger award.
D. V. Bishop is delighted by the double accolade. “I was chuffed to make the longlists for both Daggers, but never imagined A Divine Fury would make the shortlist for both. I am honoured to see it alongside such amazing novels by so many outstanding authors!”
Bishop previously won the Historical Dagger in 2023 for the second Aldo historical thriller, The Darkest Sin.
The winners of this year’s CWA Daggers prizes will be revealed at a gala London dinner on July 3rd.
